Kabir Singh Box Office: Beats Happy New Year & Golmaal Again! Set To Cross Salman Khan’s 2 Biggies

Kabir Singh is doing extremely well at the box office even though the film completes two weeks today. The Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer started with a 20 crores+ opening and continues to churn healthy numbers despite competition from new Bollywood and Hollywood releases in the second week.

Kabir Singh earned 7.53 crores on second Wednesday thus taking the 13-day total business over 200 crores mark. The film is in the 200 crores club now and has done a total business of 206.48 crores.

Kabir Singh is now 15th highest grosser of all time as it crossed the lifetime business of Shah Rukh Khan – Deepika Padukone starrer Happy New Year (205 crores) & Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again (205.72 crores). The immediate next targets of the film are Salman Khan – Sonam Kapoor starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (207.40 crores) and Salman – Katrina Kaif’s Bharat (209.36 crores*) and these records will be surpassed today itself.

Kabir Singh is now among the league of biggest Bollywood hits ever but it still has a lot of steam left and at least one practically empty week. The film is set to enjoy another great week and all eyes will be on the film crossing 275 crores mark by the end of the third week and then target 300 crores lifetime finish.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film is an official Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy and released at in cinemas on June 21, 2019.
