Bharat Box Office: Surpasses Dabangg 2 To Become 25th Highest Grosser Of All Time

Bollywood’s latest biggie Bharat is on a record-breaking spree. Day-on-day, the film is scoring big and jumping higher in the box office charts.

The film earned 9.20 crores approx on its first Monday which takes the total business to 159.30 crores so far.

We reported you how Bharat became the 2nd highest grosser of 2019 in just 6 days as it crossed the lifetime business of Kesari and Total Dhamaal. The film has also become 25th highest grosser of all time by surpassing the lifetime business of Dabangg 2 (158.50 crores).

Now, as the film chases the 200 crores mark it will be targetting the lifetime business of films like Baaghi 2 (165 crores), Race 3 (169 crores), Bang Bang (181.03 crores), Bajirao Mastani (184 crores), 2.0 (188 crores), Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (190.03 crores) & Ek Tha Tiger (198 crores). Bharat has also become the 8th highest grosser of Salman Khan’s career.

The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer film has slowed down at the box office, with collections showing a drop on Monday and hence the next few days will be really crucial for the film.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is an official remake of Korean film Ode To My Father. Also starring Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Jackie Shroff the film tracks the journey of a man and a nation together.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan has an interesting lineup with films like Dabangg 3, Inshallah and Kick 2. Katrina Kaif will be seen in Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay Kumar.
