Join UsMission Mangal Box Office (Worldwide): When the movie was announced about the Mars’ mission, it surely gained the buzz. Backed by Akshay Kumar, it hyped up by adding stars like Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha and more. The movie opened to a great response and has been following a good trend since then.
Started at 29.16 crores, the movie now stands at 164.61 crores at the India box office. If we see the trend of its 2nd weekend, it bagged 7.83 crores on its 2nd Friday and then jumped high on Saturday and Sunday with 13.32 crores and 15.30 crores. This shows the acceptance of the film and will continue to milk at the BO until Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor’s Saaho takes over the driving seat from the coming Friday.

As far as the overseas figures are concerned, there has been no updated figures yet. The last update we got was in an initial couple of days when it stood at around 10 crores. So, if we calculate the worldwide total, the movie has officially entered in the 200 crore club even if we exclude the updated overseas figures (which are yet to come).
If we calculate the gross amount in India, the movie stands at 194.23 crores. After adding the overseas numbers of 10 crores, the total of the movie will be 204.23 crores. Ironically enough Akshay has surpassed his film, Jolly LLB 2 (200.64 crores), to enter the list of 200-crore-club (Gross). The next probable movies it will cross, in a couple of days, are Badrinath Ki Dulhania (206.95 crores), Kaabil (209.50 crores), Hichki (210.81 crores), Judwaa 2 (216.71 crores) and M.S.Dhoni – The Untold Story (217 crores).
