Released amid decent buzz, the Malayalam rom-com exceeded expectations internationally thanks to strong word-of-mouth. As expected, the Middle East region is leading among overseas contributors. While the latest update is yet to come, it has been learned that the region has contributed over $6.2 million (59.15 crore+). It is followed by the UK, where it emerged as Mollywood’s 2nd highest-grosser of all time a few days ago. Even the North American territory (USA and Canada) has contributed well.
As for the latest update on the overall collection, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has grossed an estimated 124 crore at the overseas box office in 20 days. With this, it has become the second Malayalam film to reach the 120 crore mark. The collections have slowed down now, but still, it is likely to touch 135 crore.

Becomes Mollywood’s 2nd highest-grosser overseas
With 124 crore in the kitty, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has surpassed Lokah Chapter 1 – Chandra (119.9 crore) to become Mollywood’s 2nd highest-grossing film in the overseas market. To claim the top spot, it needs to beat L2: Empuraan (142.25 crore), which looks slightly difficult but is still achievable. A lot will depend on how it fares during the fourth weekend.
