After surviving Saaho storm, Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal is continuing to put up an impressive show at the box office despite a stiff competition of Chhichhore. The movie is currently in its fourth week and in the list of Bollywood’s Top Worldwide Earners, it has crossed Salman Khan’s Race 3.
Till 4th Sunday, Mission Mangal has earned 197.37 crores nett and 232.89 crores gross. Combining another 42 crores gross from overseas market, the movie stands at the grand total of 274.89 crores gross worldwide.

With 274.89 crores Mission Mangal surpassed Race 3‘s 270.76 crores in Koimoi’s Bollywood Top Worlwide Earners. It is also marginally away from beating Rajinikanth-Akshay starrer 2.0 (Hindi) in the list, which has a lifetime total of 275 crores.

Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal released on 15th August 2019 along with John Abraham’s Batla House. It also stars Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, Taapsee Pannu and Nithya Menen.
Mission Mangal revolves around the story of India’s Mangalyaan or the Mars Orbiter Mission.
Actor Akshay Kumar was recently seen playing the doting son as he spent time with his mother Aruna Bhatia, who is recovering from a knee surgery.
Sharing a video in which he was seen strolling on the streets of London with his mother, Akshay wrote: “Juggled shoot to spend a few days with mom in London. No matter how busy you are with life and growing up, don’t forget they are also growing old…so spend time with them while you can.”
