Aditya Suhas Jambhale, who made a stellar directorial debut with Article 370, is arriving with another film that might redefine horror thrillers as a genre. Starring Manav Kaul, the trailer for Baramulla has arrived, and it has managed to impress with each and every frame in almost 2 minutes.
The trailer sets up a cold, eerie atmosphere that sends a chill down your spine, and it has nothing to do with a snow-clad Kashmir! But the evil hints that surround such beautiful snow-clad mountains make the trailer an experience!
Baramulla seems to take hints from some local folklore, and the horror story is deeply rooted in the valley’s history. To be honest, it looks absolutely terrifying in the best possible way. However, the question is whether this promising trailer will transform into a good film. I have a strong feeling that it is a Yes!

Manav Kaul plays DSP Rizwaan Sayyad Shafi, who is transferred to solve the case of disappearing children from the valley. Many allege that they are being trained to turn Pattharbaaz, and others just beg for their children. But there is definitely more than what meets the eye.
The narrative presented in the trailer is deliberately fragmented, which is a strength. We get glimpses of an investigation, with Manav Kaul trying to rationalize the irrational. The conflict stands veiled, though, with possessed kids trying to justify a horrifying folklore. There is a very clear bifurcation between the political aspects of Kashmir and this supernatural thriller, and we know Aditya Suhas Jambhale knows enough about the political scenario in Kashmir to present it skillfully!
The trailer ends on a high note, leaving the audience breathless and, crucially, desperate for answers. It makes a compelling case, but the actual plot clarity remains veiled, which is perhaps the point.
