As expected, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao have hit the ball out of the park with an unbelievable advance booking for the opening day. The film surpassed some of the biggest films, including Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, by a huge margin, and the current collection promises a bumper start for the film.

For the first day, the horror comedy collected 23.36 crore in gross collection, excluding the blocked seats.This data is for a remarkable 8.2 lakh sold tickets in advance for the first day of the film.

Stree, 2 advance booking for day 1, is 53% higher than Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, which closed the first-day advance booking at 15.41 crore and 5.5 lakh sold tickets. Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor & Rajkummar Rao’s film entered the top 10 highest advance booking collections for day 1.
