Ramleela has finally made it into the 100 crore club. Ranking as the year’s 7th joiner of the 100 crore club, the film reached the coveted club in only 12 days. Currently standing at a fantastic box office income of 101 crores, it has equaled the pace of Salman Khan starrer Ready which too had taken the same number of days to make 100 crores and concluded at a lifetime run of 120 crores at the box office.
After Race 2, Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani, Chennai Express, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Grand Masti and mostly Krrish 3 this year, the film has taken the club’s count to 25. Ramleela is expected to perform consistently over its second week too due to lack of mesmeric films and dwindle off only at the conclusion of its third week. The film will settle for a lifetime income in the range of 120-125 crores which is great for a film of its budget.
