War stories of bravery, grit, courage, and determination never go wrong if done with the slightest of sincerity and honesty. Last year, Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran roared at the box office, and this year, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan’s Sarzameen is getting all the love! Now, Farhan Akhtar is all set to arrive in the theaters with 120 Bahadur!

The teaser of the film has been dropped, and it offers a powerful glimpse into the 1962 Indo-China War, specifically the legendary Battle of Rezang La. Farhan Akhtar steps into the shoes of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, a Param Vir Chakra awardee, leading a contingent of 120 Indian soldiers against an overwhelming force of 3,000 Chinese troops.

As Farhan Akhtar cries to fight till ‘khoon ki aakhiri boond,’ 120 Bahadur teaser gives you goosebumps! More so because the actor is intense and his commanding presence hints at a deeply stirring performance as he becomes the leader who will fight against all odds. The teaser gives you a sense of pride when he says, ‘Peeche nahi hatenge!’

The film is inspired by the incredible true story of the Battle of Rezang La, and it promises a story that is not only thrilling but also relevant. The dialogues build a strong emotional connection and hint at the personal cost of war. However, despite all the roars, chants, and cries, nothing seems jingoistic!

This is probably because Farhan Akhtar knows the drill, as he directed Lakshya, where Hrithik Roshan played a war hero! Moreover, Farhan’s Army-connect extends personally to his role of Milkha Singh as he played the athlete and an army man in his biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

Featuring Farhan Akhtar, along with Raashii Khanna, Ajinkya Ramesh Deo, Eijaz Khan & Vivaan Bhathena, the film is directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai. 120 Bahadur is arriving in the theaters on November 21.
