Now, she is hitting the headlines for her dating rumors with Scooter Braun. Speculations began to circulate after they were spotted kissing each other. Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun’s rumored romance has left the internet in a frenzy. Their kissing video from Central Park was widely circulated everywhere, which has now been declared as “staged” for tabloid drama. Some reported that they particularly chose a more public place to get all the attention, as Central Park often gets photographed. An insider claimed that they played with the camera and that it was not organic, but rather that it was “choreography”.

According to Reality Tea reports, “When you start staging a relationship rollout, you’re either distracting or starving.” Meanwhile, a close source to Scooter Braun revealed that the record executive is totally smitten with the actor, and there was no “strategy.” However, Hollywood media and insiders are not ready to believe it. Many bashed it for being “too visible”. Another source claimed, “Power couples don’t roll around in Central Park unless they want coverage. Trust me. We don’t just magically appear.”

Sydney Sweeney’s Past Relationships

Before getting entangled with various dating rumors with Glen Powell and Scooter Braun, the Euphoria actress was engaged. She was in a serious relationship with Jonathan Davino but after staying engaged for years, they parted ways early in 2025. A source told People, “She’s exactly where she wants to be,” and further added, “What did make her overwhelmed, though, was her relationship and her wedding. She didn’t feel right about it.”

Jonathan and Sydney were first linked in 2018 after they were spotted at an Emmys party. In 2020, they were again papped having a cozy time together, where they were seen kissing each other in Hawaii. However, during their relationship phase in 2023, Sweeney was rumored to be having a romantic relationship with her “Anyone But You” co-star Glen Powell. However, they later dismissed the rumors by stating that they were just putting on a show, and Sweeney is still with Jonathan Davino.

In February 2025, TMZ reported (via Elle) that Sydney Sweeney and Davino had postponed their wedding due to career issues, and reportedly, they got separated early in January as the whole relationship “didn’t feel right”. Now, the actress is single, but there’s no confirmation yet that she is dating Scooter Braun.
