Bollywood business is raising its bar day by day. While the 100 and 200 crore figures are no more a novelty, it has become difficult to gauge the perfect ingredients required to make a blockbuster film. In recent times we have seen films such as Dhoom 3, Chennai Express and Kick getting tremendous success and it was quite clear that a fair share of the film’s success was thanks to the stars in it. Thus, while we have seen that the three Khans – Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan hold a strong standing at the box office, it is now time to also identify actresses whose charm has helped them make it into big buck films.

Well, certainly no film is complete without a sizzling beauty in the lead and since actresses today are climbing the ladder of success real quick, it is these beauties who are overshadowing their male co-stars too. It’s time to find out who is the ultimate 100 crore heroine, who has the maximum films that have crossed the big figure in her kitty.

Deepika Padukone:

The actress has climbed the ladder of box office success quite quickly and how. After giving back to back super hit performances in Chennai Express, Ram Leela and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the actress is currently one of the most sought after heroines and she has proved her versatility with choices such as Finding Fanny in her soaring career. She already has starred in five films which have made it to the 100 crore club. Dippy is certainly leading at the Top with 5 ‘100 crore films’ in her kitty. Also with projects such as Bajirao Mastani, Tamasha in pipeline, looks like she is gong to add more films in her kitty soon!

Priyanka Chopra:

The actress has four films – Don 2, Krrish 3, Barfi and Agneepath in the 100 crore club. Priyanka Chopra is one of the actresses who has time and again shown the potential to shoulder a film on her own with hits such as Fashion and Mary Kom. An unhesitant Priyanka even took up a film like Saat Khoon Maaf which did not gain commercial success but made sure to prove her acting prowess and her versatility. After being a part of four films that have made it big already, Priyanka has upcoming projects such as Bajirao Mastani which is sure to fetch her box office success soon!

Katrina Kaif:

Katrina Kaif has the charm and she has been quite lucky when it comes to commercial success. The actress has been a part of four films that have tasted immense box office success. She has been a part of films which made historic box office success such as Dhoom 3 which is till now the Highest Grossing film worldwide. Her recent film, Bang Bang too made it to the 100 crore club. Kat is one actress who has starred opposite all the three Khans in their extremely successful films. With her upcoming films consisting of Phantom and Jagga Jasoos, the actress seems to have sealed a place for more movies in the coveted club.

Sonakshi Sinha:

Sonakshi Sinha seems to have a Midas touch when it comes to box office success. The actress has five films which have made it to the 100 crore club already, namely – Dabangg, Dabangg 2, Rowdy Rathore, Son Of Sardaar and Holiday. Even though it looks like Sonakshi is being typecast as an actress, she has shown a strong screen presence and is currently leading along with Deepika Padukone in the 100 crore club. Her upcoming film Action Jackson looks like another commercial potboiler that may make it to the 100 crores and claim Sonakshi the top spot in this number game.

Kareena Kapoor:

Along with Sonakshi Sinha and Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor is another actress who has five films in the 100 crore club – Golmaal 3, Bodyguard, Singham Returns, 3 Idiots and Ra.One. Although the actress was not seen in extremely powerful roles in these films, she has been fortunate enough to taste the success. Looking at her contemporaries, Kareena currently seems to be lacking behind since she has no plum projects in her pipeline. With Kat, Dippy and Sonakshi already competing neck to neck, Bebo will have to sign some big projects to give her the much-needed push.

Asin:

With four films – Ghajini, Ready, Housefull 2 and Bol Bachchan in the 100 crore club, the South sensation Asin had started off her Bollywood career quite successfully. The actress tasted box office success with her Bollywood debut Ghajini itself. Asin was last seen in Bol Bachchan which also was a 100 crore film. Although, Asin has been fortunate so far, the actress seems to have slowed down her pace as she has limited projects in hand currently and thus she might have to wait a little more for her next film to hit the century.

Jacqueline Fernandez:

Jacqueline Fernandez who recently starred in the mighty successful Kick with Salman Khan has three films to her credit that have made it to the 100 crore club. The Sri Lankan beauty has been on a high ever since Kick‘s success. The actress has further projects such as Roy starring Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal lined up. Jacqueline has a chance to climb the 100 crore ladder higher if she chooses right films from now on. Ever since she starred opposite Salman Khan, the actress has been the talk of the town and she needs to cash in on it!

Amongst the one timers, actresses such as Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Illeana D’Cruz, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Kangana Ranaut have only got one film in the 100 crore club. Although each of these actresses have key projects in the pipleine and it will be interesting to see, who among these will further score more.
