Bigg Boss 19’s latest episode turned emotional after a significant clash between Tanya Mittal and Kunickaa Sadanand. The fight began in the kitchen when Tanya found an insect while chopping bhindi and reacted disgustingly. Kunickaa mocked her, saying, “Thoda aur kitchen mein rahogi toh bahut kuch seekhogi.â€

Tanya Mittal was not satisfied and questioned why women’s empowerment had always been connected to cooking. She continued by asserting that because one does not know how to cook, it does not necessarily mean that his or her upbringing was flawed. The conversation soon escalated into a larger argument, with both unwilling to give in. Kunickaa later told Baseer Ali that she did not want Tanya in the kitchen and would never speak to her again.

The matter worsened when Kunickaa said Tanya’s mother never taught her basic manners. Tanya immediately broke down, crying that her mother was everything to her. She said, “Mera mumma mera bhagwan hai. She cannot bring up my mother in the task. Main bahut mushkil se yahan tak pahunchi hu.â€

Gaurav Khanna stood up for Tanya and called Kunickaa’s remarks shameful. Most housemates supported Tanya and slammed Kunickaa for crossing the line. But Kunickaa did not take back her words.

Tanya Shares Her Painful Past

Later in the show, Tanya spoke to Gaurav, Ashnoor Kaur, Zeishan Quadri, and others about her childhood. She said that she was brought up in a tight-lipped family, and her father used to beat her. Her mother used to try to save her, but life was never good. With tears in her eyes, Tanya said, “Bahut mushkil se business shuru kiya hai maine, permission mila saree pehen ne ki, bahar nikalne ki. I was 19 when I was almost going to get married off, I wanted to die.â€

Her confession stunned everyone. Tanya described how she was brought up in a strict atmosphere where even minor liberties, such as what clothes to wear or going out, were forbidden. This revelation was made during a nomination challenge in which contestants were tasked with highlighting one another’s weaknesses. Kunickaa had claimed that Tanya had not faced real struggles in life, which hurt Tanya deeply.

The episode left many housemates in tears, and the atmosphere inside the house was heavy.
