Pre-sales in China are progressing strongly, according to a report by trade analyst Luiz Fernando. The film finished its second day of pre-sales, bringing the cumulative total to $7.1 million. It is for the period from November 25 to 30; there are still 7 more days to go. According to the report, it is already the biggest pre-sales of 2025 for Hollywood animation in China. Soon, it will also cross the $10 million mark.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle was released in China this past weekend, and it also achieved outstanding pre-sales numbers in the country. Zootopia sequel has outgrossed Infinity Castle’s two-day pre-sales cume of $7 million. This means that at the end of day 2, Infinity Castle’s pre-sales collection in China was $7 million, whereas Zootopia 2’s was $7.1 million.
