After a long time Bollywood has witnessed a film that stays true to all the grandeur and soars high based on elements of music and romance. Dharma Production’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani directed by Ayan Mukherji starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone has emerged as a rage overseas with its total collections in the global markets now accumulating to USD 10.50 million.
With that the film’s total collections in the global markets has surpassed the total overseas collections of SRK starrer Om Shanti Om and Salman Khan’s biggest release till date Ek Tha Tiger.
The film’s domestic box office collections have been phenomenal and in the overseas markets too it has put up a stellar show. Ranbir Kapoor has strenthened his brand value with this film and has leveled himself up to the likes of his colossal seniors in the industry – Salman Khan and SRK.
Another SRK film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna precedes YJHD at the box office with overseas collections of USD 10.77 million. It will be interesting to watch this Dharma film surpass the Karan Johar directorial at Koimoi’s Top Overseas Collections List.
