The grand finale of Bigg Boss 18 took place on Sunday (January 19) wherein the host Salman Khan handed over the winning trophy to Karanveer Mehra. Until the very end, some polls and rumored voting trends were pointing out towards Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal to be the winner. However, Karanveer’s victory surprised many people and sent his fans into a euphoria. Here are 3 reasons why the actor’s victory can be hailed as a historic win in all its glory.
Winning Against Cult Fanbases
Despite Karanveer Mehra winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 before participating in Bigg Boss 18, the actor did not come with a humongous fanbase and built an organic fanbase with his stint on the show. His rivals like Rajat Dalal and Vivian Dsena, though strong contestants equally, had the support of some cult fanbases a few days before the finale.
