The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 brought another dramatic twist inside the house. Now the remaining contestants are competing for the captaincy contendership. Amaal Mallik, who currently holds the position of captain, steps into the role of sanchalak for the task. Viewers who have been closely following this season know that every captaincy task has been unpredictable.

Political Theme Captaincy Task

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 19, viewers witnessed that Bigg Boss called all the contestants to the assembly room for a new task. After the parties were formed, Bigg Boss informed them that three party offices were set up in the garden area, and the housemates needed to decide which one they wanted to be a part of. Each party comprised three members, including the founding leader.

The task soon became dramatic when every party leader was given a whiteboard and asked to write two reasons why their members were winning material. The entire house turned into a political battleground filled with fiery speeches, loud slogans, and endless chaos.

Amaal Mallik, who was the sanchalak of the task, observed everything closely. After reviewing everyone’s performance, he declared Team Gaurav, which includes Mridul and Pranit, as the winners of the first round. The thrill continued in the next round, where Team Kunicka emerged victorious.

Who will become the new Captain?

After the two rounds conclude, the live audience will enter the Bigg Boss house. Team Gaurav and Team Kunickaa will have 15 minutes each to convince the audience, while Team Shehbaaz will have only 7 minutes, as they won’t have any rounds to their name.

The new captain will be the contestant who gets the maximum number of votes. Gaurav Khanna and Shehbaaz will be the top two contenders for captaincy, as they are expected to receive the maximum audience votes. At the end, Shehbaaz will get maximum votes in live voting, followed by Gaurav Khanna as the runner-up and Pranit More in third position.

However, a major twist will shake things up. According to reports from X handle, Livefeed Updates, Bigg Boss will give Gaurav two options, he can either choose captaincy, but in return, the house will receive only 30% ration and all contestants will be nominated, or let Shehbaaz become captain with 100% ration and no nominations. Gaurav will choose the first option, taking up the captain’s role. It will be interesting to see how the house dynamics will shift under his leadership.
