Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is about two former lovers—Sunny, played by Varun Dhawan, and Tulsi, played by Janhvi Kapoor—who create a fake relationship to get their respective fiancés. Sunny desires to reunite with his girlfriend Ananya, who is promised to marry Vikram. Similarly, Tulsi also wants to take revenge on her ex-boyfriend Vikram. To do this, they both act like they are in love, but in the process, fall in love with each other. This leads to amusing complications throughout the story.
