Pushpa 2: The Rule Plot
After ending The Rise with a cliffhanger, the sequel will revolve around Pushpa battling his tough contender, SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, a police officer. As the trailer reveals, the battlefield has moved internationally as the leading protagonist continues his journey as a reputed smuggler, fighting for his rights and money. On the other hand, the IPS officer ambushes to rage a war for his much-yearned respect.

Allu Arjun reprises his much-loved character as Pushpa Raj. Rashmika Mandanna will be playing his wife, Srivalli. Fahadh Faasil returns as SP Bhanwar Singh. The supporting cast features Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj.
It has been earlier revealed that Netflix paid a whopping 275 crores to gain exclusive rights to the digital premiere of Sukumar’s directorial. As per a report by 123 Telugu, Pushpa 2 will be released on the OTT platform on January 9, 2025. However, an official confirmation by the streaming giant and the makers is yet awaited.
It is to be noted that the sequel is enjoying a glorious run at the Indian box office. In such scenarios, the producers often delay the OTT premiere in order to mint the maximum possible moolah at the ticket windows. Hence, there is a possibility that the movie may also hit the OTT world sometime in February, which is after 8 weeks. Let’s wait for an official announcement.
