A brand new week is here, and so is a fresh batch of exciting OTT releases. Just like many times before, Netflix takes the lead this week with four new titles. The lineup includes the first part of the final season of a highly anticipated sci-fi series, a light-hearted Hindi romantic comedy, an English romantic heist comedy, and a gripping Tamil serial killer investigation thriller. Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 (English) – November 27, 2025

The long wait is finally over. Stranger Things Season 5 is coming this week and will consist of four episodes. The second part, also composed of four episodes, will be released next month. This season is set in 1987, following the events of Season 4, and the military has been tasked with enforcing a quarantine in the town. The government is hunting down Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown, and the search for her has intensified as she remains in hiding. But the danger is not over yet. It is coming back, and the old gang must reunite to stop it.

Aaryan (Tamil) – November 28, 2025

A serial killer takes control of a television studio and, over the next five days, orchestrates a series of murders. One hour before each killing, he publishes the names of the people who are about to die. What drives this madness? Is there a reason behind his actions, or are the victims chosen at random? Is he truly just a killer acting for his own twisted sense of pleasure? Vishnu Vishal plays a police officer tasked with stopping him, but he is also struggling with serious personal issues. Can he handle such a dangerous case while dealing with his own crisis? You will have to watch the film to find out.

Jingle Bell Heist (English) – November 26, 2025

The Christmas holiday season is upon us, which means a string of Christmas-themed movies. We saw this last week as well, and this week is no different. Jingle Bell Heist is also one of those Christmas-themed movies. The film is about a retail worker and a repairman who come together to rob a high-end London department store. It follows their misadventures along the way and the budding romance between them.

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (Hindi) – November 27, 2025

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari follows two heartbroken individuals who have both been dumped and want to make their respective exes jealous, hoping to win them back and make them regret leaving. Varun Dhawan plays the role of Sunny Sanskari, while Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead, Tulsi Kumari. These two were the ones who were left behind, while their exes are now getting married to each other. To turn the tables, they decide to attend and crash the wedding festivities as a fake couple in an attempt to make the other pair jealous.

Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 (Hindi Dubbed) – November 27, 2025

For most of you, this is not a new release because the OTT version of Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1, in its original language and several other languages, has already been released, but for the Hindi audience, it will be available this week. Just like the first film, the core theme of the prequel remains the same: greed and land grab operations targeting marginalised communities, but this time it is set on a much larger scale. This mythical period action fantasy takes place around 300 CE, during the time of the Kadamba dynasty, focusing on their ambition and greed and how divinity steps in to restore the balance between human ambition and nature.

The Pet Detective (Malayalam) – November 28, 2025

The Pet Detective follows a struggling detective who has never achieved any major success in his career until he accidentally gets the chance to return a lost dog to its owner, turning him into an unlikely pet detective. However, the dog is secretly linked to illegal activities and a murder, and by sheer twist of fate, the detective finds himself once again caught up with the same group of criminals behind it all.

Regai (Tamil) – November 28, 2025

A fatal accident occurs involving an ice cart vendor, and naturally, the police get involved. However, something unusual is discovered, as a severed hand is found inside his cart. The investigation leads to the discovery of a conspiracy involving illegal medical trials, a series of murders connected to it, and the cover-ups of those crimes.

Raktabeej 2 (Bengali) – November 28, 2025

A political thriller centerd on terrorist activities that threaten to destabilize the relationship between India and Bangladesh. It serves as a continuation of the first film, with a new antagonist emerging who steps in to replace his fallen brother-in-arms and follows in his footsteps.
