Netflix’s historical drama Vikings: Valhalla has officially announced the premiere of its third and final season this year. The sequel to Michael Hirst’s Vikings revolves around the early 11th century and chronicles the legendary adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived including Leif Eriksson, Freydis, and the Norwegian prince Harald Sigurdsson. Created by Jeb Stuart, the final season is expected to pick up from where season 2 left off, as shown in the newly released trailer.
