Former Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress has won the sexual harassment case against Asit Kumarr Modi. The 45-year-old star made some serious allegations last year. The verdict came out last month, but she was refrained from sharing it with the media. The dues have yet to be cleared, and below are all the details you need to know!
Last year, Jennifer claimed Asit Modi had tried to flirt with her on numerous occasions and made sexual advances. The actress had filed an FIR against the TMKOC producer. The police complaint also named operation head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj. Several other allegations included toxicity and ill behavior with actors on sets.

Jennifer Mistry has now broken her silence on winning the sexual harassment case against Asit Modi. The former Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Roshan told the Times of India that she’s yet to receive her due amount, compensation for holding her salary, along with an additional 5 lakhs by the court. The total amount would be 30-35 lakhs+, and it’s been over a month, but she is yet to receive the payments.
Jennifer Mistry continued, “I believe a woman’s reputation matters most. It’s been over 40 days, and I still haven’t received my due amount, which I earned through hard work on the serial (TMKOC). Despite proving Mr Modi guilty of sexual harassment, no punishment has been given to all three accused. Sohil and Jatin weren’t included in the verdict, which disappoints me. The local committee ordered my due amount, which I deserve. This verdict clears that my case was not fabricated, and I wasn’t seeking cheap publicity. While I’m glad my harassment was recognised, I don’t feel I’ve received proper justice yet.”
As per the actress, the verdict came out on February 15, 2024. She was advised against making it public. Asit Kumarr Modi is yet to react to the verdict that came out in favor of Jennifer Mistry.
