Accused Teaser Review: Konkona Sen Sharma & Pratibha Ranta Are Two Gems In One Frame & This Is The Kind Of Cinema I Crave!

Netflix has recently launched its entire slate for the year 2026, and we are still letting all the brilliant titles sink in, a few at a time! And if there is one thing that I am very excited about in this slate, it is Konkona Sen Sharma’s arrival in a Dharma film titled Accused! The powerhouse actress has been paired with Pratibha Ranta, who has a sensational theatrical debut with Laapataa Ladies in 2024.

The teaser for the Netflix original film produced by Dharmatic Entertainment has been dropped, and it’s every bit haunting, and ticks all the boxes for a perfect psychological thriller, something Bollywood has been missing for a very long time!

Accused teaser does not rely on fast-paced edits and intense background scores. Instead, it builds a world of whispers, cold stares, and a sense of dread. We see Konkona in what looks like a deeply layered, perhaps morally grey character, while Pratibha Ranta seems to be the emotional anchor who is caught in a storm.
