Her breakthrough movie, however, was Woody Allen‘s Annie Hall. For her performance in Annie Hall, she won the Best Actress Oscar. She worked with some of Hollywood’s most legendary filmmakers, from Francis Ford Coppola to Nancy Meyers.
Diane Keaton has passed away.
People reported that Diane Keaton passed away on Saturday at 79. According to the report, the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that they responded to Keaton’s residence at 8:08 a.m. local time and transported a 79-year-old woman to a nearby hospital. The exact cause of her death is still unknown.

A reported friend claimed her health had declined rapidly in the last few months. They said, “She declined very suddenly, which was heartbreaking for everyone who loved her. It was so unexpected, especially for someone with such strength and spirit. In her final months, she was surrounded only by her closest family, who chose to keep things very private. Even longtime friends weren’t fully aware of what was happening.”
