The shark, who is the founder of Sugar Cosmetics, has been one of the prominent members of the panel and has been a part of the show since season 1. In three seasons, she has invested in a lot of businesses and cracked some mind-blowing deals.
The 41-year-old businesswoman enjoys a net worth of around 300 crore, and her company is worth millions – Sugar Cosmetics contributes a lot to this huge figure. The IIM-A graduate was offered a job worth 1 crore in 2007, but she was passionate about owning something big and rejected the offer.
Sugar Cosmetics is currently valued at around 4100 crores, and the company was founded by Vineeta and her husband, Kaushik Mukherjee, in 2015. However, before Sugar Cosmetics, Vineeta tried her hands at two startups – the first one was Quetzal, founded in 2007, which provided background verification checks to recruiters. Her second startup was Fab-Bag, which worked on a subscription model and provided monthly beauty products to its customers.

Vineeta invested around 1 crore in the first season of Shark Tank India and around 9.69 crore in season 2. In season 3, to date, she has cracked nine deals worth 5.80 crore (in 20 episodes). In total, with an investment worth 16.49 crore, she has invested almost 5.49% of her total assets in the companies that pitched for investments on Shark Tank India.
Vineeta Singh’s Biggest Deal This Season
In the total 20 episodes of Season 3 that have been aired, Vineeta Singh has bagged two solo deals that have been her biggest investment for 1 crore each. The first deal was with Aadil Qadri for Perfumes and Attar, where she cracked a deal worth 1 Crore for 1% Equity and 1% royalty until the 1 crore is recouped. The other 1 crore deal for 1% Equity is with ORBO AI, an AI-based Beauty Advisor.
Vineeta Singh’s Stakes In Sugar Cosmetics
Vineeta and her husband Kaushik have equal shares in their company, Sugar Cosmetics, which is around 16.55% each. The couple lives in a lovely house in Powai, where prices are as high as 75,000 per square foot. Vineeta has come a long way since, once upon a time, she was on the verge of bankruptcy. On the other hand, when she moved to Mumbai, she lived in a very small house that used to get flooded in Monsoons.
