As per early estimates Student Of The Year made about 2.5 Crores at the domestic box office. The movie now stands at a huge box office total of 64 Crores which is a very big achievement for a movie with all new comers. Karan Johar has aptly woven a student’s dream world and the cinegoers are loving it. The movie has also made about 13 Crores at the overseas box office which is also quite impressive.

Student Of The Year is holding the 10th position in the Koimoi.com Bollywood Box Office – Top 10 Indian Movies 2012 quite strongly. However, since the two highly awaited flicks this Diwali, i.e. Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar are sure to enter the top 10 charts of 2012, SOTY will have another week and half to make as much collections as it can at the box office. If SOTY has to retain the 10th position even after Diwali it will have to beat not only Raaz 3 at 70 Crores but also Cocktail with 76 Crores.
