During his prime, Govinda was among the top crowd pullers in B and C centers, but now, he’s struggling to taste even a clean success. In fact, his last successful film came with Partner (2007), which also starred Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Lara Dutta. Made on a budget of 28 crores, it amassed around 61 crore net at the Indian box office.

By making returns of over 100%, Partner was declared a super hit. It enjoyed a huge 1.44 crore footfalls, thus becoming a much-needed commercial success for Govinda.
