For the unversed, Ash and Salman reportedly dated in the late 90s. They were said to be together for a few years before parting ways. There were several reports which claimed the Tiger 3 star physically abused the actress. But all that is now water under the bridge as Ash is happily married to Abhishek Bachchan and has a daughter. Meanwhile, Salman also had a few relationships after splitting from the diva.
As per Firstpost, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan once, in her appearance on the Simi Garewal chat show called ‘Rendezvous with Simi Garewal,’ spoke about why she does not talk about her past relationship or her breakup with Salman Khan. Ash explained that she was not alone; she had a family and loved ones. She is not someone who thinks only about herself.
Simi Garewal asked Aishwarya Rai Bachchan directly about Salman Khan and their past conflict in the interview. She did not spill any juice and said, “I think it’s quite shut out; I don’t want to get into looking at it any which way, especially on the public platform.”
She added, “It’s in the past, and it should be left there. I have exercised my demons.” She further explained that she is not only a public figure but a regular person like any other, just like the people she would talk about in the media.
