Gulshan Devaiah Says The Most Surprising Thing Happened To Him In Love Was His Divorce

Gulshan Devaiah is probably witnessing the best phase in his career. The actor is coming up with back to back creative projects like Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, Commando 3, Footfairy amongst others. Now, the upcoming one in the list is the web series, Unpaused. It is an anthology film which includes 5 direct stories of the pandemic by 5 different directors.
The story by Raj Nidimoru & Krishna DK stars Gulshan and Saiyami Kher in lead. It revolves around love blooming amid the pandemic phase. One of the promos shared by the makers on Instagram read, ‘Love Always Likes To Surprise You.’
Koimoi in an exclusive conversation asked the Unpaused team about the most surprising them happened to them in love. To this, Gulshan Devaiah responded, “Most surprising thing that happened to me in love – I didn’t think I would get divorced, which I did and I’m okay with it. It wasn’t the answer that anybody of you expected but yea!”
Gulshan Devaiah was married to actress Kallirroi Tziafeta from Greece. The couple was together for almost 8 years (from 2012-2020). The Unpaused actor confirmed the news earlier this year in an interview clarifying that they didn’t announce it because it is their personal matter.
Saiyami Kher responded, “I saw love back in Roger Federer’s eyes when he met me.”
Raj & DK added, “Our surprise was that we actually made a story on the theme of love.”
Meanwhile, Unpaused also includes short films directed by Nitya Mehra, Nikkhil Advani, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Avinash Arun. Sumeet Vyas, Richa Chadha, Abhishek Banerjee, Ratna Pathak Shah and Ishwak Singh are other leading actors in the anthology film.
The film releases on December 18 on Amazon Prime Video.
