Kirron Kher has been a constant on India’s Got Talent since 2009. Viewers love her honesty, ‘desi’ nature, and unapologetic remarks as a judge. But the panelist was once offended by an IGT contestant who slipped into tiny shorts to twerk on National television and found it “inappropriate.” It also escalated a war of words with Karan Johar and Malaika Arora. While KJo and Malaika bring in some modern approaches to India’s Got Talent, Kirron is desi at heart and sticks to her roots. There have been many instances when she has slammed the Western culture and how the youth is influenced by it. One such incident occurred when a contestant twerked during auditions.
During the 8th season of India’s Got Talent, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan graced the show to promote their film Kedarnath. A contestant left the judges impressed with her contemporary act on Saibo. But her next performance offended Kirron Kher as she grooved to the remix version of Choli Ke Peeche and removed her wrap-around skirt to raise the temperature in tiny denim shorts.
India’s Got Talent judge Kirron Kher reacted, “Mujhe aisa laga ki isme hilaana julaana jyada tha and grace thodi kam thi. (I personally feel this performance had a lot of sultry moves, and the grace was missing.” She then reprimanded Sushant Singh Rajput for his standing ovation to the contestant. “He could not contain his emotions,” sarcastically said the veteran star.

Kirron then objected to her tiny shorts, which she referred to as knickers. Malaika Arora defended, “Ye knicker nahi hai, ye shorts hai. Denim shorts hai.” Karan Johar interrupted and told the contestant, “I thought you were amazing.”
To this, Kirron Kher added, “Tumlog angrez ki aulaad ho na, tumlog ko lagta hai.” Take a look at the viral video below:
This wasn’t the first time Kirron had opposed Malaika Arora and Karan Johar. In a viral video shared by KJo last year, the veteran actress could be seen criticizing the duo’s fashion choices.
