The second volume drew 34.5 million views during the week of December 22–28. This achievement makes it the second-best performing week of the season so far.

The only week that performed better was the season’s opening week in November. When Stranger Things 5 first premiered, it pulled in 59.6 million views, which became Netflix’s biggest-ever opening week for an English-language title. This record placed the show above every other English-language series on the platform.
