Surbhi Chandna is currently enjoying all the praises coming her way for Naagin 5. Her fans and the show’s admirers are happy to see one of the best talents on television playing the lead role. She stars alongside Mohit Sehgal and Sharad Malhotra in this supernatural saga.
This is the first time the Ishqbaaaz actress is a part of a fantasy/supernatural drama. The outfits she’s wearing on the show are completely different from her earlier serials. Also, she will be doing several action sequences which are quite new for her. Koimoi spoke to Surbhi Chandna about her Naagin 5 outfit, action scenes and more.
When asked about her Naagin 5 look and if it’s difficult to shoot in it, Surbhi Chandna decoded her look for us. The actress revealed that everything she’s wearing on the show is not at all heavy. The gorgeous actress says, “It is a very gorgeous outfit. It is not very heavy, to be honest. The jewellery is pretty comfortable to perform with. The look is appreciated. I love the styling of this Naagin 5 outfit this time. It has cuts in the front and stomach area. It also has a s*xy slit. It’s an easy-breezy outfit actually. It’s not that difficult as I thought.”
Naagin 5 started with Hina Khan, Mohit Malhotra and Dheeraj Dhoopar as the lead for a few episodes. However, the audience was unaware of the twist that the cast will change after a few episodes. When asked if that made her worry what the response will be, Surbhi Chandna stated, “It is supposed to be a story of Satyug and Kalyug. We, as a cast were aware that we are going to have the standing and beginning of the season with Hina, Dheeraj and Mohit. It later gets into the reincarnation story which has me, Sharad and Mohit. We were always well-aware about it. No qualms there. I was always happy to see the three of them perform amazingly well on the screen. It only made our pressures double to carry forward.”
She added, “Unhone kamaal kar diya on screen. Toh woh thoda nervousness hota hai ke hume aage badhani hai kahani. Hina has had an amazing journey. She has such good opportunities ahead of her. She was very clear that she has to open this season. They’ve done the whole thing brilliantly well. It only became tougher for us. But the audience has received us pretty well and we are happy!”
About doing action sequences for Naagin 5, Surbhi Chandna showed quite an excitement. The actress said, “I’m pretty excited. Once I decide to challenge myself, then whether it’s action, romance or comedy, I go like ‘bring it on’! I’m excited and also nervous. Let’s see.”
