With Disney’s purchase of 20th Century Fox earlier this year, it was speculated that the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool are all likely to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe at some point in the future. This meant Ryan Reynolds’ ‘Merc With A Mouth’ character in Deadpool might be in trouble due to its non-family-friendly vibe. But Ryan Reynolds recent visit to the Marvel Studios office may hint that Deadpool 3 might finally be happening.

Ryan took to social media to share a photo from his visit to the Marvel Studios. Instead of being straight about his meeting, The dead pool actor joked that he went in to try out for the role of “Anthony Stark,” but was tasered and thrown out of the building. He captioned it as, “Auditioned for the role of “Anthony Stark”. Didn’t come even remotely close, but the nice man with the taser escorted me to the ground.”

However, it is said that Reynolds was more likely meeting the team at Marvel Studios to discuss what the future is for Deadpool 3 will look like. Earlier, Disney’s administrator Bob Iger has however talked about the R-rating possibility.

Deadpool’s writer, Paul Wernick also said that they are trying their best to bring the authentic Deadpool on the screen this time as well. He said, “We’re always in touch with Ryan. We’ve got several projects with him in addition to the Deadpool universe. I think the party line and truth is we’re all still figuring it out.”
