The film was earlier slated to release on May 1, 2020, but was postponed due to pandemic. It is now scheduled for November 6 release, but things are uncertain because pandemic doesn’t look like coming to an end soon.

Meanwhile, there’s certain anxiety among fans who are looking for new leads every day or some kind of assurity that Black Widow will release on time. For them, there’s a silver lining, and it’s that the makers can opt for selective international release if things don’t go well.

Warner Bros’ Christopher Nolan directorial Tenet has been a similar case recently. The film has been postponed numerous times, and it was even being said that the makers may opt for direct OTT release. But the producers stood their ground and confirmed that they would release the film on September 4 in selective international markets.
