If there’s one character who changed for good in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. In Avengers: Endgame, no one thought the God of Thunder would be in such a miserable state of mind. After seeing his rage in Avengers: Infinity War, we saw how the loss affected Chris’ character badly in Endgame.
In Thor: Ragnarok, we saw Thor being funny and sarcastic. That was unlike what we saw him in previous Marvel films. But ever wondered how the God of Thunder became so funny after Avengers: Age of Ultron? What exactly happened after that? That’s our Avengers: Endgame trivia #56 for today.
Robert Downey Jr is one of the major reasons why Thor’s sense of humour grew. RDJ, whose character Iron Man died in Avengers: Endgame really taught good comedy and sarcasm to Hemsworth. At least that’s what Taika Waititi himself said. In an interview earlier with CinemaBlend, the Jojo Rabbit director said, “Yeah, Thor spent two years on Earth hanging out with Robert Downey, Jr. So he’s got some sass. He knows a little bit more about irony and sarcasm now. He’s got a little bit of Earth humour. He’s like a rich kid from outer space that’s spent some time slumming it for a bit, you know? So he’s instantly become a bit more interesting.”
