The Gopichand starrer Viswam was released at the box office with many expectations. Unfortunately, the movie has been underperforming at the box office and has received a mixed response from the masses. Take a look at its 15-day box office performance.
Viswam Box Office Day 15
The Gopichand starrer’s day-wise collection saw a dip on its 15th day. It earned 0.14 crore which was a decline from its 14-day collections wherein the film had earned 0.72 crore. The movie’s India net collections come to 14.05 crore. At the same time, the gross collection is 16.57 crore. The film’s overseas collection is 0.5 crore. The worldwide collection of the movie comes to 17.07 crore. These numbers aren’t enough for the movie to recover its budget.
The Gopichand starrer is mounted at a scale of 24 crore. Its India net collection is 14.05 crore, which is insufficient for the movie to recover its budget. It needs more than 9 crores to do so which looks like a massive challenge considering that the day-wise collection of the movie has decreased. The movie is also not witnessing an impressive positive word of mouth which would have benefited it at the box office.
Viswam’s OTT Release
Considering that the movie is tanking at the box office, there are speculations that it might witness an early OTT release. Yes, you heard that right. There is a buzz that the OTT streaming platform Prime Video has purchased the digital streaming rights for the movie for 12 crores. However, there is no confirmation on the OTT release date of the movie. It might either be released on October 29 or post-Diwali on November 3, 2024.
