Shaitaan, starring Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan, has stepped onto the accelerator yet again as it has entered into the weekend. It was clear that there would be a healthy jump, considering the fact that the collection was higher on the third Friday compared to Thursday. Keep reading to know the early estimates for day 16!
Directed by Vikas Bahl, the horror thriller has displayed super consistency ever since it took a flying start. Several times, we have seen that despite positive reviews, films don’t garner footfalls, but this Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan starrer has been lucky enough to be appreciated by the audience.
Day 16 estimates of Shaitaan
Coming back to the collection update, Shaitaan has shown healthy growth today and is closing day 16 by raking in 4.20-4.40 crores, as per early trends flowing in. Considering the estimates, the total stands at 123.73-123.93 crores at the Indian box office. This is rise of 47.36-54.38% from Friday’s 2.85 crores.
On Sunday, the Vikas Bahl directorial will again witness a jump, and there’s a chance of collection going well above 5 crores. So, overall, it’s another good weekend for the film.
To stay in theatres till Eid releases take over
On weekdays, Shaitaan will witness a considerable drop as two new releases, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar and Madgaon Express, have received positive reviews from critics and are getting appreciated by a section of audiences. However, it’ll continue to mint moolah and stay in theatres until Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan take over from 10th April onwards.
All set to emerge as a clean Hit!
Meanwhile, the horror thriller is already a theatrical success, and it is expected to secure a Hit verdict very soon. Considering the budget of 65 crores, the film will be a clean Hit when it collects 130 crores at the Indian box office.
