Kollywood industry had a good last year, with two films emerging blockbusters and crossing the 600 crore mark at the worldwide box office. Yes, we’re talking about Rajinikanth’s Jailer and Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo! Both films made their way into the top 3 highest-grossers in the Tamil film industry. Jailer enjoys a rating of 7.1 out of 10 on IMDb, with a vote share of 33,000 users. On Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer, it carries a 50% rating. In the audience score, it is rated at 89%.
