Kaantha Box Office Collection Day 5: 44% Of Budget Recovered, Yet Dulquer Salmaan’s Film Remains In Trouble?

Coming to the latest collection update, Kaantha raked in 1.97 crores on its first Tuesday, day 5. Compared to day 4’s 1.8 crores, it is a growth of 9.44%. Overall, the film has earned an estimated 17.62 crore net at the Indian box office, as per Sacnilk. Adjusting for GST, the gross total stands at 20.79 crores.

Reportedly, Kaantha was made on a budget of 40 crores. Against this cost, it needs 40 crore net collection to enter the safe zone and avoid being a failure. In the first 5 days, it has recovered 44.05% of the budget, which looks good, but considering the ordinary pace of the film on weekdays, it’s not enough to reach its target of 40 crore net collection at the Indian box office.
