Happy New Year being a Shah Rukh Khan film was received extremely well in the International markets. The actor who has a huge fan following in the overseas was expected to rake in a good business from there. Happy New Year has done excellently so far and now stands with a overseas collection of $13.75 million.

The film has now surpassed the collections of Jab Tak Hai Jaan which had collected $13,560,000. Happy New Year has now become the fifth highest overseas grosser. Shah Rukh Khan is the only actor to have six films in the Highest overseas grossers list.
