Timothee Chalamet’s Dune 2 continues to enjoy its glorious run at the worldwide box office. While the pace has gone down a bit due to new releases, the film is still doing enough to keep moving its tally by a healthy score. In the latest development, the biggie has amassed a superb total so far in IMAX, and it might even surpass the lifetime collection of Oscar-winning blockbuster Oppenheimer. While the overall content has got a thumbs-up from the audience, the film is enjoying repeat audiences due to its big-screen experience. Even before its release, the film was promoted as a visual extravaganza, and as expected, it has done really well in IMAX so far.

Dune 2’s IMAX run

As per the latest update, Dune 2 has amassed a whopping $124 million from the IMAX version alone at the worldwide box office. Out of this total, $58.3 million has come from the domestic market (US and Canada). The contribution from overseas is $65.7 million so far, and out of it, $15 million has come from China alone.
