Despite Padmaavat, Tiger Zinda Hai Stays Strong At The Box Office In Its 6th Week

Well, this is no more surprising for us to see this! This was meant to happen. Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai is in no mood to stop. From day 1 itself, the film has roared out loud and then there’s no stopping to it.

Despite Padmaavat’s release, Tiger Zinda Hai has still managed to run successfully in the theatres. This proves that Salman Khan is a true tiger who rules the box office.

The film has now entered its 6th week and it has collected a whopping amount of 336.21 crores. The film garnered 65 lacs on Friday which is not a bad number at all!

Apart from Salman and Ali’s amazing collaboration, Tiger Zinda Hai has proved to be special for everyone. The film has become Salman and Katrina’s highest Grossing film date, this is the 3rd film of Salman to enter the 300 crore club after Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Not only this, but Tiger Zinda Hai is Ali’s second film to enter the 300 crore club. And also it is Yash Raj Films’ Highest Grosser film ever. Well, this is quite a win-win deal for the Tiger Zinda Hai team.

Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger which was released in 2012 and it was a super hit too then. After Ek Tha Tiger, the hopes with Tiger Zinda Hai were sky high and Ali has undoubtedly proved with his magic.

Thanks to Tiger Zinda Hai that we got to see Salman and Katrina’s on-screen chemistry after five long years. So, it was definitely a treat for all of us!

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Yash Raj Films, Tiger Zinda Hai was released on December 22, 2017 in 4,600 screens all across India and 1,100 screens abroad.
