Initially, it felt that the competition would dent both films significantly. However, in reality, the phenomenon of ‘Barbenheimer ’ stormed cine-goers across the globe, and we saw the Barbenheimer trend taking over social media platforms. It helped both the releases to grab momentum and emerge as blockbusters.

Talking about the latest collection update, Oppenheimer raked in $55,355 on its 243rd day at the North American box office. On the other hand, on the same day, Madame Web earned $50,273. For the Dakota Johnson starrer, it was day 35 on discount Tuesday. It’s literally a surprising trend, and it has to do with some momentum that was provided by Oscar’s victories.
