Anupam Kher started his career with a film titled Saransh and earned a position for himself in the industry right from his first film, which was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The film won him accolades and status as a performer in the industry, and there has been no looking back for him ever since.

However, after Saaransh, he played the antagonist in a lot of films, including Sridevi’s Chalbaaz until he shot to fame playing Shah Rukh Khan’s father in DDLJ.
