Shah Rukh Khan is the most respectable and charming superstar in the Bollywood. Popularly known as King Khan, the actor has been in the industry for more than thirty years and continues to entertain his worldwide fanbase through his acting prowess and other skills. However, he has also time and again showcased his humility and grounded nature.
While promoting his blockbuster Raees on The Kapil Sharma Show, Shah Rukh Khan once referred to Nawazuddin Siddique as his “senior” and admitted that he is not as good as the 50-year-old actor. He said, “Main itna bada actor nahin hu jitne bade Nawaz Bhai hain. Unko shayad khud apni khasiyat nahin maloom hai. Abhi inhone filmon mein kaam kiya hai, theatre se hain. Ye bahot hi bade aur aala darze ke actor hain.”
SRK also shared that he believes the superstar has been in the industry for over 25 years. Although King Khan has more experience than Nawazuddin Siddique, he humbly acknowledged that the latter is in a league of his own when it comes to acting. During the episode, the Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge actor also praised Siddique’s “beautiful eyes” and admired his unique acting style, adding that when actors like him share the screen with their co-stars, they inspire those around them.
In Raees, SRK plays the titular character, Raees Alam, a gangster-turned-MLA with Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. The movie was directed by Rahul Dholakia and was released in 2017. Raees featured an ensemble cast including Siddique, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Sheeba Chadha, and Atul Kulkarni. Apart from Raees, Siddique has also worked with two prominent Bollywood actors, including Salman Khan in Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Aamir Khan in Sarfarosh and Talaash.
