Toofan: All About Mrunal Thakur’s Audition For The Farhan Akhtar Starrer

In a place very almost every individual is striving for a validating from the society or peers, actress Mrunal Thakur comes from a very different school of thoughts. The actress who made her acting debut in 2018 with the critically acclaimed Love Sonia, has tasted success with her following outings like Super 30 alongside Hrithik Roshan and Batla House starring John Abraham.

And now, as she gears up for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Toofan, co-starring Farhan Akhtar, a horror anthology film Ghost Stories, and the Hindi remake of the Telugu film, Jersey, starring Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal is probably at the best of her game.

But when you ask the actress if she finally feels successful and has found her footing in the industry, Mrunal has a rather unusual yet inspiring answer. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Mrunal said, “I was successful the day I started acting and began executing the ideas I had for my career. Recently, I was telling my 15-year-old brother that in school, we are taught how success is so important in life, but in life and in eight years of my acting career, including TV, I have learned that true success is to learn to deal with failures. I think people are successful in their own minds, and in their own eyes. We don’t need anyone else’s appreciation. We should learn to love our own talent and ourselves.”
