Now, weddings in India are itself a gala affair, but Ambanis have put the word extravagant to shame with Anant Ambani & Radhika Merchant’s Pre-Wedding festivities in Jamnagar.

Talking about the cute couple Radhika & Anant, they seemed to enjoy every bit of the fairytale wedding their parents had arranged for them. By now, the world knows their love story, but we are here to talk about another love story that seemed straight out of a film set – Mukesh Ambani & Nita Dalal’s love story.
This is a love story that involves a ‘ziddi ladka,’ and we are sure if this had been a film, then Yeh Ladka Hai Allah Kaisa Hai Deewana might have played the very next moment. This is the story of how Mukesh Ambani proposed marriage to Nita Dalal.
In an episode of Simi Garewal’s chat show, Nita and Mukesh were seen narrating how they decided to get married. Simi Garewal asked Mukesh Ambani, “How did you propose to Nita?” Mukesh said, “Nita was really the first girl I had seen. I had like pretty much made up my mind, this is it. This is my Life Partner. Once, like, we were driving on Peder Road, it just occurred to me, and I said yes, I should. I asked her, Nita, ‘Will you marry me?'”
However, Mukesh Ambani’s proposal came with a demand, and the demand was – “Say Yes or No, now in the car. She said no, no, not now, and I said no, say it now, Yes or No.”
Simi Garewal reacted to this instant proposal story and said, “I think when you are an Ambani, failure is never an option.” Nita Ambani next took charge of the story and narrated, “There was already a traffic jam, and people were shouting, and cars were blowing horns, and I said, okay, move on. He says, ‘Tell me Yes or No.’ I shall not move the car.”
Mukesh Ambani then asked for the third time, “Say Yes or No now.” Nita Ambani narrated the story further, “So then eventually, of course, I said Yes.” After that, Nita asked Mukesh, “If I should have said No, what would you have done? Would you have told me to get down, Right there and then?”
But being the gentleman and the man in love Mukesh Ambani was, he replied, “No, I am too much of a gentleman. I should have dropped you home and still be your friend!” And that is how, ladies and gentlemen, the richest man in India proposed to the queen who currently rules and manages the Reliance Group.
