Arjun Reddy Fame Shalini Pandey Joins Junaid Khan In His Bollywood Debut

Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan’s Bollywood debut is one of the most talked debuts of the star sons. According to a new media report, Arjun Reddy fame actress Shalini Pandey will be seen opposite Junaid in a Siddharth Malhotra directed film. The director is known for directing Rani Mukerji in Hichki.
Reportedly, Shalini Pandey will be making her grand Bollywood debut opposite Ranveer Singh in Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The actress is currently working on her acting skills for her upcoming movie.
According to a report by ETimes, Shalini Pandey has signed a three-film deal with Yashraj films. In Junaid Khan’s untitled movie, Sharvari Wagh, who is making her Bollywood debut with Bunty Aur Babli 2, will also be seen in the film. This debunks the rumour that Junaid will not be working in a YRF movie as the actors have already started working on the film. The film will go on floors in the first quarter of 2021. It’s still not clear if it will be a romantic film or a historical one as there is no official announcement about the film.
Shalini Pandey’s life has changed after Arjun Reddy. The actress in an interview with The News Minute, said, “To be honest, I haven’t faced any backlash for the character I played in the movie. Everyone, including my parents, was fine with the role because my actions as Preethi were pivotal to the script. But post the movie, people on film sets assumed that I could do any bold scene because I have done it already in Arjun Reddy.”
Shalini added, “In Arjun Reddy, the script demanded it and you cannot simply include a titillating scene in a movie so that more people come to the theatres and watch it. I understand when men talk like this, because they are bound to, but when women too think on similar lines, it really upsets me as an actor.”
