Join UsJoining the interesting line up of Bollywood movies in 2019, Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar with their upcoming release, Saand Ki Aankh, are all set to take you through the inspiring story of sharpshooters. The movie is set in a countryside of India.
Saand Ki Aankh is another addition in the list of biopics, which depicts the real-life story of oldsters from Johri village of Baghpat district in Uttar Pradesh, named Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar, essayed by Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu, respectively. As per the teaser suggests, the movie is about the two rebels who picked up the gun against the evil but unknowingly explore their talent to become professional shooters. Expectedly, both Taapsee and Bhumi nailed the looks and mannerisms of 80 plus grannies and hope in a trailer we get more insights of the movie.

During the wrap-up party of Saand Ki Aankh, Bhumi said: “It is fun when you do interesting work and when you play interesting characters. This film is very special to me. In this film, Taapsee and I are playing characters who are double of our actual age. The characters which we have played in the film, they have left a legacy and an interesting story behind them.
“They have literally changed our ecosystem so, definitely there was a challenge while shooting for this film but more than a challenge, there was a responsibility on us to tell the story of these two lovely and amazing women.”
