Amitabh Upset Over Abhishek’s Exclusion

Amitabh Bachchan is an angry man these days. After the controversy about his presence at the Bandra-Worli Sea Link Phase II inauguration, now son Abhishek was the target of petty politics at a Delhi event for WWF Earth Hour.

Amitabh wrote on his blog, “You are, perhaps, aware that Abhishek has been appointed the WWF ambassador for Earth Day. At the India Gate on Rajpath, a ceremony is being held to announce the campaign… the Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Shiela Dixit, and a prominent member of the ruling Congress Party, is attending… a few hours before the show was to start, apparently, the audio visual featuring Abhishek has been asked to be removed and banner posters bearing his photograph as Ambassador have been stopped from being displayed! I wonder why?”

“Am I hallucinating, or is there a pattern in all this?”
