Over the years, Bhumi Pednekar has impressed us with a choice of work and her acting chops. This time, too, she’s here with solid content. Directed by Pulkit and backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, Bhakshak is a story about an independent journalist, Vaishali (played by Bhumi), who makes a brave attempt to uncover girls abuse that is happening in a shelter home at Munnawarpur. However, the journey isn’t easy as some strong evil forces are standing against Vaishali.
Apart from Bhumi Pednekar, Bhakshak also features Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava, Sai Tamhankar, and Surya Sharma in key roles.
Reception of Bhakshak & where to watch it
This film was released on 9th February and is streaming exclusively on Netflix. Upon its arrival, Bhakshak opened to positive reviews from critics. This positivity helped the film gain traction in the viewership. In our in-house review, this Netflix film has been rated 3.5 out of 5 stars.
